Plan your journey
Getting to the Gower
Our parks sit in a rural part of the Gower Peninsula. The journey is straightforward — but worth a few minutes of planning before you set off.
A note on sat nav
Gower is rural, and sat nav can mislead on the final stretch — particularly the last mile or two approaching the parks. We recommend using the addresses below for general navigation, then following our on-road signage as you get closer. If you lose signal or get turned around, call ahead and we'll talk you in.
By car
Driving to Gower
From the M4, exit at junction 42 and follow the A483 and then the A4118 towards Gower. The road takes you through Swansea and out onto the peninsula. It's a pleasant drive — allow a little extra time if you're travelling in summer.
One practical note: fuel up before you reach Gower. Options are limited once you're out on the peninsula, and there's nothing near the parks themselves.
Public transport
Getting here without a car
It's possible to reach the parks without a car, though it does take a little planning.
By train
The nearest mainline station is Swansea, served by regular trains from Cardiff, Bristol, and London Paddington. From the station you'll need a taxi or hire car to reach the parks — it's around 20–30 minutes depending on which park you're heading to. There's no direct public transport from Swansea station to the parks.
By coach
National Express and Megabus both serve Swansea from major UK cities. As with the train, you'll need to arrange onward transport from Swansea — taxi or hire car is the most straightforward option.
By local bus
First Cymru operate bus services into the Gower, but they are infrequent and routes change seasonally. Check ahead with First Cymru before relying on this option, particularly outside of summer.
