Running Costs of a holiday home
We believe in transparency, and we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of the ongoing costs associated with owning a holiday home before making your purchase. Below, you’ll find details of the running costs to help you plan accordingly.
Site Fees
The site fees for our three parks vary depending on the location of your holiday home, which park, the pitch itself, and the type of holiday home, (caravan vs lodge).
For example, our *2025 season site fees for Whiteford Bay were £4,526, and our standard pitches at Greenways of Gower and Green Meadow were £4,720. Our premium pitches for caravans were £4,920. Our lodge fees were £6,240 for standard pitches, and £6,510 for premium pitches. (These prices reflect our discounted rate--based on payments made in full and on time. T&C apply)
*Please note, our site fees may increase each year, due to inflation.
What Do Site Fees Cover? ℹ️ Here is a link for a more in-depth look at what our site fees cover throughout the year.
Utilities
- Electricity: Your electricity usage is metered at your caravan, ensuring you only pay for what you use.
- Water: Water is shared throughout the park. For reference, the average water cost for the 2025 season was under £100/per pitch.
Insurance
All holiday home owners are required to have insurance. Similar to any significant investment, it’s important to protect your holiday home against potential risks such as fire, flooding, and weather-related damage. Pricing will vary based on the size, age, and location of your holiday home. (Please contact us for further details.)
Gas Bottles
All of our holiday homes are required to have two gas bottles on the pitch at a time—ensuring you should never run out. The cost of gas bottles varies by size:
- 19kg – £55
- 47kg – £106
Winter Drain Down
We strongly recommend that all holiday home owners arrange for a winter drain down to prevent potential damage during colder months. We are happy to provide details of a trusted plumber or gas engineer, or you are welcome to use a professional of your choice. Please ensure the work is completed by a qualified professional, as many insurance policies will not cover damage caused by improper winterization.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, we are always happy to help.
